Marefair Heritage Park, Northampton
Foundation and Drainage Design
The existing Chalk Lane Car Park near Northampton railway station will be transformed into a heritage park to honour the town’s history and incorporate remains of the former Northampton Castle.
Proposals for the site include adjustments to the castle mound, hard & soft landscape works, provision of new playground area, community gardens, lighting, fencing heritage features and story boards.
JPP services provided:
- Foundation design for the gateway features
- Drainage design
- S278 works to extend the adopted footways across existing car park entrances
- Temporary works to existing retaining and garden walls
