Job overview
This role is within the Business Support team of Flowerpot Holdings Ltd, the Group’s management company, who provide administration and financial support to the wider JPP Group of Companies. Working as part of the business support team, the role provides financial support to the Senior Management and technical teams across the whole group.
Responsibilities and duties
As Finance Assistant, your role is to assist the Finance Director in the day-to-day financial activities included in the responsibilities listed below along with providing support to other members of the finance and administration teams.
The role is varied and includes but is not limited to:
- Purchase invoice processing and purchase orders for companies within the
- Process sales invoices and maintain credit
- Assist with the project costing software (creating new projects, monitoring job costs ).
- Dealing with WIP and invoice targets for the cost
- Oversee the nominal ledger – error checking and
- Reconcile sales and purchase ledgers and provide
- Reconcile supplier statements and contact with any
- Assist in accounts
- Assist with monthly management accounts and year
- Post accounts
- Filing and
- Provide assistance to the Finance
- Deal with any accounts related general
- General book-keeping
- Respond to e-mails within the general accounts
- Provide support to other members of the Business Support Team.
Undertaking any other ad-duties necessary to enable the smooth running of the Group.
Qualifications and training
As part of the JPP Group you will attend all mandatory training and be encouraged to attend CPD training offered to all employees by both internal and external trainers.
